The ACE research clearly showed that approximately 2/3 of the adults in the study had ACEs. It is likely that most people you know and meet have ACEs; it is possible that you have ACEs. Even if you don’t, it is still wise to have self-soothing strategies in your pocket, just in case you find yourself in a difficult social situation or with a child that is having a meltdown.
